1. Valentine’s Day Pessimists

    You guys are ridiculous.

I’ve been single every Valentine’s Day of my life, but I still love it. Just because you’re not with anyone, that doesn’t mean no one is going to ask you out, no one is thinking of you, or no one has the courage to ask you to be their valentine for the day. That still happens on this day even if you are single. And who cares if it’s a dude/girl you don’t have feelings for? They still thought of you and wanted you to know you’re special.

“Why do we need a day to show our love for everyone? That’s stupid; shouldn’t we do that everyday anyway?” ——-Yeah, we should; however, we’re only human. We get caught up in our own shit and in other people’s shit, and we forget to let the ones we love know that they make living worthwhile. I think Hallmark did us a favor in reminding us to share this day. Thanks, Hallmark.

V-Day isn’t only directed at significant others. You can share your love with family, friends, neighbors, whoever. That’s the beauty of it. So please stop acting like a whiny, self-loathing, lonely human being and please recognize that you’re wonderful. This is a day for you and everybody else to just be happy, eat chocolate, and show some love. It’s not that hard to do if you take a look at what you have instead of what you don’t.
